Comment on Last stop! by Strickman Endodontics https://carterendo.com/2012/11/12/last-stop/#comment-63 Fri, 01 Mar 2013 05:10:00 +0000 https://carterendo.com/?p=910#comment-63 Its encouraging to see root resection techniques being applied an a sensible manner.  As an endodontist, I have suggested this therapy on numerous occasions to referring dentists.  All too often, the restoring dentists opts for extraction and implant vs. the root amputation.  I think there is a fear of failure of the technique when this is really a tried and true treatment option.

Comment on Hard as a rock by Dave Carter https://carterendo.com/2012/05/03/hard-as-a-rock/#comment-62 Mon, 07 May 2012 01:10:00 +0000 https://carterendo.com/?p=809#comment-62 I’m with you Doc. When you consider that the tooth is just trying to insulate itself, it’s no surprise that sometimes that protective mechanism is successful in completely occluding the canal system.

It is interesting that radiographs really deal with differing densities and don’t always reveal the true situation.

Thanks a bunch Tyler. It’s a lot of fun to look at the things I do every day in my practice and try to distill something from it that I can share. You’re going to love TDO. I’ll see you in the forums for sure.

Comment on To refer or not to refer… by Dave Carter, DMD https://carterendo.com/2010/08/20/to-refer-or-not-to-refer/#comment-31 Tue, 23 Nov 2010 17:24:53 +0000 http://worldofendo.com/?p=63#comment-31 In reply to Eric Jensen.

Eric, thanks for your comment. Sometimes I wonder if anyone is reading out there!

Dr. Nelson is a very good dentist, and an even better person. He has a very bright future in the field of dentistry. When patients are referred from a doctor they trust, it makes my job very easy. It’s a pleasure working with him.

Thanks for this post – I’ll refer some of our clients (dentists) to the form you referenced.

Dr Jason Nelson told us how much he enjoys working with you and most importantly, how happy his patients are after being treated by you!

Keep up the great work (and writing)!
Eric
