Who We Are

David G. Carter, DMD

Dr. David G. Carter graduated from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then returned to his native Connecticut, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.

After completing a one year General Practice Residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Carter returned to practice General Dentistry in Connecticut. After eight years of general practice, he returned to Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he earned his certificate in the specialty of Endodontics.

Dr. Carter is committed to the highest level of patient care. He is recognized as a Diplomate by the American Board of Endodontics. Additionally, he is recognized as a Fellow by the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Toledo Dental Society and the Ohio Dental Association.

An avid writer, Dr. Carter can be found commenting on all things endodontic on the blog.

Dr. Carter lives with his wife and two children in Toledo. He enjoys cooking, golf, and most of all, being a dad.

Georgia — Dental Assistant

Georgia is the lead dental assistant. From the time you are seated until the procedure is completed, she will be by your side. Her goal is to make the procedure as easy as possible for you. A native of Holland, she enjoys reading, camping and spending time with her grandchildren. When the weather gets warm you may see her around town on her motorcycle.

Jodi — Business Manager

Jodi is the first person you will talk to when you contact our office. An expert on dental insurance, Jodi will make every effort to help you get the care you need. She is originally from Toledo, but now calls Maumee home. She enjoys cooking and decorating, and spending Sundays with her husband of thirty seven years. She also enjoys hosting family gatherings.

Kailee — Patient Care Coordinator

Kailee can be seen anywhere in the office. You may see her helping patients as an administrator at the front desk. She is also a dental assistant, helping Dr. Carter with direct patient care. A native of Bowling Green, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and watching sporting events. She can be found rooting for the Tigers, Cowboys or Celtics, depending on the season.

Maelyn — Dental Assistant

Maelyn is a chairside assistant who works with the doctor in direct patient care. A graduate of Toledo Christian, we were fortunate to have her join our office after completing her training at Ross Medical Education Center. After growing up in Springfield, she now calls Maumee home. She enjoys shopping, spending time with friends, and going to Chick-Fil A (ask her about this- Dr. C thinks she goes way too often).

Erin — Receptionist

Erin is first face you will see when you enter the office. She was born and raised on the east side of Toledo, graduating from Waite High School and Ross Medical Education Center. She is a dog lover(ask her to show you pictures) and likes spending time with family when she has a chance. Erin is a supporter of all Buckeyes, but pays particular attention to football.
