In honor of the upcoming holiday, I want to take a brief moment to talk about the things I am thankful for. My family, my staff, the referring doctors I have the pleasure of working with and their patients as well. I am also thankful for what I am able to do every day. It is both a joy and a great privilege to meet and take care of so many wonderful folks.

In endodontic terms though, I am most thankful for the maxillary first molar. It is a beautiful tooth and always full of surprises. It is an embryological wonder and is by far the most common tooth I treat. I believe you could have a busy practice just treating this tooth.

Here are some cases from the past few weeks. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed doing them.

In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they’re still beautiful.

I hope everyone out there has a wonderful thanksgiving.
