Endodontics is a gift to all of us. For the patient it provides a path to health, free from discomfort. For the dental professional it provides us an opportunity to admire the complexity and beauty that is the anatomy of the human tooth.
I deal with the maxillary first molar more than any other tooth. Yet I am amazed daily by the anatomical variation it displays. This one though, with six canals, this one is the equivalent of an Endodontic unicorn.
